Our Journey
ChikensRoadPro was born in 2015 when John Mitchell and Sarah Wong, two experienced poultry professionals, recognized a critical gap in Australia's farming industry. Despite Australia's growing demand for high-quality poultry products, small and medium-scale farmers were struggling to establish profitable and sustainable operations due to lack of specialized knowledge and support.
Starting with a small consulting office in rural Victoria and just three clients, John and Sarah began developing custom breeding and management systems specifically designed for Australia's unique climate zones and market conditions. Their innovative approaches quickly gained attention as their initial clients reported dramatic improvements in productivity and profitability.
By 2018, ChikensRoadPro had expanded to a team of eight specialists and moved to larger premises in Melbourne, while maintaining demonstration farms in three climate zones across Australia. In 2020, we launched our comprehensive training program, which has since certified over 200 farmers in advanced poultry management techniques.
Today, ChikensRoadPro works with more than 300 farms across Australia, from small family operations to large commercial enterprises, helping them implement sustainable, profitable, and welfare-focused chicken farming practices.
